Duncan Hines Cake Mix -Unsafe!!

PreviousPage 2 of 2

Pen I laughed out loud at your "Americans and your love of things that come in boxes" comment because its so true 🙂 We love our packaged foods. I grew up with my mom baking everything from scratch but I unfortunately didnt get the baking gene 😉 So I am a cake in the box kind of girl. And when I do bake I go with Betty Crocker. They have the best reputation for being truly nut free.

Thats funny Pen and I agree with you. I happen to love baking and so does my family. My family and I will get together over the weekend for dinners and we will all bake together which is so fun. I always feel at peace when I know exactly what is going into baked goods so baking myself is the best way for me to ensure that. But I have heard a lot of good things about Cherrybrook cake mixes ( because my friend only uses them when baking for her kids. Ive tried their cakes and they are yummy.

According to Allergen Inside "We found 23 other products Made By Duncan Hines that either contain or have been processed in a facility with: wheat, soy, egg, milk, whey, sulfites, tree nuts, peanut, butternut & walnut." I stay away from Duncan Hines. There are too many other brands that are peanut-free and processed in a peanut-free facility. I use Betty Crocker but I always check the label before I buy it.
