Restaurants in London

I traveled to London with my Peanut allergic daughter. London was great. Everything is well marked and most restaurant staff are very knowledgable of food allergies. Many places had special menus for food allergies.

As a UK resident, peanut oil is very rarely used unless in Asian restaurants or takeaways, and even then not always. Allergy awareness is very good, everyone knows what you are talking about and they will prepare food separately for you if necessary.
All menus and food products are required to mention if there are nuts in them, so its easy to find food to avoid as well. Ive never had a reaction in a restaurant, and as long as you let the staff know, you should be safe.

Thank you 🙂

Thank you 🙂 Now I feel more confident about travelling there 🙂
