Caroline Flack, who serves as a judge for Britain’s version of the reality TV competition “X Factor,” was set to judge the first auditions for the show’s new season in Liverpool last week. But she barely made it to the audition after being rushed to the hospital the night before, suffering from a suspected allergic reaction.
According to theDaily Mail, the TV presenter became violently ill, prompting concerns that she’d suffered an allergic reaction. The evening before the auditions began, she was treated by medics and released, but her condition continued to deteriorate, so she returned to the hospital.
A source reportedly toldThe Sun“Caroline was delirious. She had no idea what was wrong with her. She feared she would have to miss the first show.” Thankfully, she recovered in time for the next day’s auditions. Just a few hours after her ordeal in the hospital, she casually talked with fans, looking like nothing was wrong. Many in the cheering crowd did not even realize that she had been ill.
There’s no word yet on what may have caused the 32-year-old’s scary allergic reaction. It’s also unknown whether Caroline has previously been diagnosed with any allergies.
