Any good ideas for homemade Christmas gifts?

I would like to make Christmas a little more personal (and cost-effective) this year. Anyone have some suggestions for some nice homemade gifts to give to extended family?

I love to do hot chocolate mix in a mason jar - there are lots of good mix recipes. I tend to like doing other things in jars too - brownie mixes and cookie mixes. I've also been doing digital photo books lately - I like the website.

This is a little late, but if you are into sewing, pillowcases are SO easy. It doesn't matter if they are embroidered or not, but embroidering names is such a nice touch.
My daughter asked me for ideas and wanted the pillowcases for her friends. She was very pleased with the finished products and I think her friends really liked them too.
