Baked donuts chocolate or plain

Donuts preheat oven 325F
Lightly spray donut pan - or mini muffin pans

Baked Cake Donuts

2 C flour
3/4C sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4C milk
1 Tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and cinnamon (you can omit this-add 1/2 teaspoon more vanilla)- you can sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on some before baking for some of the donuts to have spice and some not)

2 eggs, beaten (substitute if egg allergic = 2 teaspoons yeast in 1/2 C warm water-let set 5 min)

I shifted together dry ingredients , add other ingred beating well . fill pans 2/3 full Bake 8-10min.

Glaze 1Table HOT water 1/2 c confectioner's sugar- dip baked donut in this . decorate with sprinkles or shaved chocolate.

Chocolate Cake Donuts

1 1/2 C Flour
1/3 C unsweetened baking cocoa
2/3 C sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 C milk
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoon Butter, melted
2eggs (substitute if egg allergic = 2 teaspoon baking powder , 2 Tablespoons liquid, 2Tablespoons vinegar)

Shift dry ingred. Together . In separate bowl mix egg/substitute, sugar, vanilla. Combine milk and butter . Alternately combine egg mixture and milk until smooth. Fill 2/3 full bake 8-10 min at 325F. cool on rack. Frost or glaze
