Has anyone heard of any peanuts or tree nuts or traces of them in this product? I have never received a response. It is impossible to talk to anyone at the company. Thanks.

DD always seemed to react to the Waterbabies. I now use either Neutrogena or Blue Lizard.

Our summer camp bought this - great stuff!

we had to check it out for peanut and nut allergies and it was fine.

We use the coppertone sport spray. I love the spray-it's expensive but it's soooo fast and easy! I still have to manage to put sunblock on ds's face with my hands though-not an easy task on a squirmy kid.

I have some follow-up info on the Banana Boat sunscreen and the Neutrogena sunscreens as well.
Banana Boat: I received a v/m stating that there are no peanuts or tree nuts in the Kids SPF 50, but that there is a peanut plant used in the manufacturing of some of the chemicals." I am not sure what that means, but I have left another message for clarification. In the meantime, I am going to get the Neutrogena, which I have the following info on.
Neutrogena:
The man I spoke with was very knowlegeable and had allergen info on these products in a handbook.
The following types of Neutrogena sunscreens that could be used for kids are peanut-/tree nut-free (no derivatives either). He said there is no x-contam. either on any of these products. They are made in a separate facility than the company's nut-containing products.

I just bought Hawaiian Tropic Baby Faces 50 Sunblock and it states hypoallergenic and no nut extracts, the label does show mango and papaya and some other fruit and flower extracts. Don't know why they have to add these ingredients!! Haven't tried it yet.
Haven't called either but their # is 1-800-NO-UV-RAY.
We usually use NO AD and have had no problems. I just thought I'd try the Baby Faces since it was a nice purse (90 ml) size.
***Just checked the website, while many of the kids line says nut-free, the aloe vera gel (for after sun/burns) says contains nut extracts. I was suprised as I thought it was sold as 100% pure aloe vera, but guess not.

Thanks for the info, but I don't see anything on the Hawaiian Tropic website that says any of the kids' products are nut-free. Is that the brand you were thinking of? Or are you in Canada?
