I went to Chuck E Cheese recently and spoke with the manager regarding my son's PA. He informed me that earlier this year they went to peanut free. Included in this were the cake and items in the vending machine. I'm not too sure about the latter items, but what a relief my son has a place to enjoy. This restaurant is in Henrietta, NY. I'm not sure if this is a national policy, or a per restaurant decision.

Don't think it is national. We go there quite a bit (Columbus, OH) and while the pizza is safe, the ice cream vending machine carries a lot of nut items. Although, I have NEVER seen a child eating one of these. They are very expensive.

I haven't been to ours in a few months but the pizza and food at ours saw safe, but the to-go desserts (cookies/brownies and vending ice creams) were not. And this was at a location (Skokie, IL) right outside of Chicago.
Hi Renny- are referring to the one across from Market Place Mall? Thanks
Yes. Great to find someone in the neighborhood! If you know of any good restaurants around let me know. We've had good luck with Jay's Diner on W Henrietta too.
We eat here a few times a year. The kids have been begging lately. Honestly, I am more worried about them getting sick from all of the germs throughout the place then from PA.
I know that Chuck E Cheese has been discussed before. It may be a comfort zone thing. Ice cream in the machines may also be an issue.
We have never had any problems. Pizza is not terrible....and the kids sure do have a great time playing!
Kids love this place, we haven't been in a long time though. DS ate pizza there with no problem. I call it Chuck E. Disease though, DS gets mad....
We eat there more than I would like (and less than dds).
We feel safe eating the food. Touching the games is another story....too many germs to think about!!!

I agree with the others. We have been there a few times and I was more concerned about the germs than the food allergy. The manager told us that the pizza and cheese sticks were safe and that is what we stick to when we go there.
I called and my understanding was (1 year ago) the pizza was safe. DS ate it without incident but we avoided the birthday cake without even inquiring. It MIGHT have allergen info on their website as well...that seems to ring a bell. Have you checked?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on the name - The Blue Bunny ice cream machine at Chucky Cheeses. I was telling my friend today at Chucky Cheeses that I don't trust the ice cream there because I've read a couple of stories about reactions to this brand on these boards and she told me that recently when she opened an ice cream for her son she saw a piece of nut on top of it. I don't know what kind of nut it was. Thankfully her children are not allergic. But she wanted to let me know in case I ever decided to let DS have it.
