I was happy to discover that Walker's makes some varieties of shortbread that are nut free. I noticed that some of their packages said 'NOT SUITABLE FOR NUT ALLERGY SUFFFERERS" even though there were no nuts in the ingredients. I therefore assumed that those varieties without those warnings are safe. I called the company today and was told that if there is no warning, that brand is made in a nut free facility. Just thought I'd pass this along. I do bake a lot but sometimes my son just wants something from a box. These are pricey, but a nice treat for a special occasion and they don't have any bad ingredients in them (i.e, preservatives, hydrogenated oils etc.(
