Due to my darling little nephew's recently diagnosed egg allergy, our favorite rice pudding (cozy shack) is out.
So I tried making it at home and it's not half bad.

In saucepan combine 1/2 gallon whole milk, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of arborio rice, heat until thickened stirring constantly (about 2 hours), remove from heat add 1 tsp vanilla and a dash of cinnamon (optional). Cool a little and enjoy. It's even really good cold.
Next I have to try to make egg free tapioca.
