We have mfa in our household and classrooms at school so I was happy to hear when I spoke to ener-g.com yesterday that as of Jan. 2, 2007 they are now tree nut free. They are also gluten and peanut free and can tell you products that are egg and soy free as well as give you answers to many of your questions. We have used many of their products but now happily can use more for our house and school snack.

Just wondering how these taste, as compared, perhaps to Enjoy Life cookies, or to Gak's (which are not gluten-free). Impressions?

Thanks for letting us know! I'm really impressed with this company. I like their rice polish . . . and should probably switch to buying their rice and tapioca flour. (I've also bought EnerG gf breads before, but I have minor allergy issues with some of their ingredients so I don't buy it anymore.)

Yay! I just called, too and was told that they have been treenut free for about three weeks. (Some of the nuts were getting too expensive so they decided for costs and allergies, they'd become nut free). They will be coming out with a statement shortly (the website hasn't been updated to reflect this yet).

So, are there any particular products that any of you have used that you would recommend in terms of taste? Thanks.
