Help on informing the public

Hi! I homeschool our three kids. Our daughter is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts and all seeds. I need to take action on informing the public and yes this means my homeschool group. I am having a Safety Fair in April. What about a table with information on peanut allergies? Our group is large for rural Nebraska, mailing list of 35 families. I have 18 kids signed up for the Safety Fair. I think it would start the ball rolling.

I have also emailed a newspaper asking if they would run a story about peanut allergies.

Any ideas, anyone?
