My thesis was focused on food allergies and I created a petition that would make it more safe for an allergy sufferer. If an allergy sufferer is in a hospital and they can't speak they would need to rely on correct information being conveyed. The problem is that in one hospital red patient wristbands could mean allergies and in another hospital red bands could have a different meaning. This could cause confusion and create medical mistakes. Currently there is a consistent color coded system in place in some states and this petition would make it the same in all the states.
