Yes, I take both my Kids who are allergic to peanuts, tree nuts and sesame. We take out own snacks and sit them on the aisle seat or next to a friend or family member rather than next to a stranger who might be eating nuts. The cinemas seem to be well cleaned between movie sessions but we wouldn't sit in an area that had previous people's litter. I understand your reluctance and now my daughter is almost old enough to go with her friends alone, I'm dreading that next step!

We will bring our own snacks of course but we also go the extra step and bring a theater seat cover (find em on amazon) or a small thin sarong to cover the seat. Always concerned about surfaces. Especially when they're eating finger foods.
