I am new here but already saw a few cool recipies. What kind of margarine/butter/spreads do you use for PA/TNA kids?
And what flour - I read something bad about Arrowhead Mills(the one I used before...)

Hi Luisa,
Welcome, Welcome.. I use Horizon Organic Butter( un-salted ) for everything.. For Flour I use Gold Medal flour, All purpose and Bread Flour for all my Baking needs.. Check around through the other threads and you will find lots of info about other products.. Make sure to call the manufacturer before using any product..

For margarine, I use "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter." And for real butter I use Land O' Lakes (salted).
I am allergic to peanuts and walnuts, and I avoid all nuts since I may or may not be allergic.

Luisa,
You are very welcome. I know that I take a lot of comfort in knowing what other nut-allergic people eat.
I forgot to mention that for flour I have always used Gold Medal.
Stay safe!
Edited to fix spelling (I had Gold Medal as Gold Metal! Metal wouldn't taste very good in flour now would it?!)

Has anyone tried using oil in place of margarine when baking cookies/cakes? I am trying to avoid soy and dairy and can't find a margarine or butter that I can use.
BTW, I use Gold Medal and King Arthur flour.
