Well, it's official, I am re-entering the business world after ten years out.I have been very fortunate to be able to stay home with my 9 & 6 (PA) year old children. I have spent the last three years working to make the school safe enough for me to feel comfortable enough to do this. I live two blocks away from the school and have always brought them home for lunch.(one less worry) I approached the VP and asked if it would be okay if my 9 year old daughter could be the lunch monitor for his classroom and they agreed. This gives a specific person to watch out for him as the lunch supervision isn't the best. The idea was my daughters so she is alright with it. It was really nice to have the school's cooperation. (for once)
