Hi guys - I know everyone is working on plans, etc for the upcoming year so I wanted to add something here that I haven't heard of but that we are doing this year at Cameron's school.

All of the classes at our school have what we call "NOW Card's" This is a laminated colored paper with COME NOW typed in cap's and bolded with the teacher's name on it. It is given to a student to run to the front office in an emergency - usually a behavior issue that the principal is needed for - they know when this card is brought up that it's imperitive to come right then...well we have one only for Cameron - it's exactly the same except it also includes Cam's name and that he's allergic to pnuts and is having a reaction.

I know that alot of schools have walkie talkies and naturally this is a much better response - but when this card is ran to the front office they page the nurse and she comes along with whatever administrator is right there.

I thought it was a good idea and wanted to share it with you guys.
