pOur 504 is pretty detailed, but we forgot a big issue. My son goes to AM Kindergarten in a peanut-free room for AM and PM. Well, we fogot about kids going to daycare AFTER AM Kindergarten who pack their lunches which may include peanuts. This issue just came up yesterday. /p
pDoes anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this? We've already suggested a drop-box for lunches outside the classroom door, or new hooks for the backpacks of kids with packed lunches right outside the door also. This way the lunches won't leave their backpacks, reducing the risk of peanut residue getting somewhere and the kids won't have a chance to forget to repack their lunch./p
Oops! We forgot a biggie in our 504.
