I came across this document from the Jefferson County Public Schools in Golden, Colorado called "Section 504 Resource Guide". Posting for those researching the 504 option...

I think it is a start, but they need to adress the LIFE-THREATING FOOD ALLERGY.
and more accomadations.
A least they may be trying.
Love this site

Agree. We're getting closer, but this doesn't address accommodations specific for peanut allergy.
But it's a great example of a school district developing "model 504 plans" for a variety of health issues. I bet they'll eventually add "food allergies" to their already lengthly list of example plans.

Gail,
Thank you for posting this link. I have wanted something like this since I started. It explains the "process" in detail and is an excellent resorce guide.
Rhonda's is more comprehensive in "our" needs and she certainly has knowledge of the whole process, but this site enables us to read the whole process that we may not think to ask her.
Great resource for someone just starting down that long bumpy road we have to travel.
Thanks again,
