Any good ideas for homemade Christmas gifts?

I love to do hot chocolate mix in a mason jar - there are lots of good mix recipes. I tend to like doing other things in jars too - brownie mixes and cookie mixes. Ive also been doing digital photo books lately - I like the photoworks.com website.

I was thinking of making (well, mixing) my own tea and putting it in to little sachets tied with pretty ribbon.

This is a little late, but if you are into sewing, pillowcases are SO easy. It doesnt matter if they are embroidered or not, but embroidering names is such a nice touch.

My daughter asked me for ideas and wanted the pillowcases for her friends. She was very pleased with the finished products and I think her friends really liked them too.

Hats, scarves and shawls are also really easy to do with this fabric. You can even find it pretty cheap at WalMart
