Ensuring baked goods are nut free and no cross-contamination

i do a lot of research on my local bakeries and i talk to the manager or owner who know how everything is prepped. i stay away from the packaged baked goods. sometimes the package can be deceiving in terms of stating that something is nut free but theyre packed in a facility that may contain nuts. i just dont risk it.

I learned to bake years ago and will only eat my own baked goods or baked goods that my family makes. I pretty much avoid them when Im out and dont buy from a bakery because Ive dealt with cross-contamination in the past even after I was told that there were no peanuts or nuts. When I bake I have total peace of mind and its therapeutic, I really enjoy it 🙂
