hello

Hi! My sons first exposure was also to breast milk ""laced"" with peanuts. Just when you think you are doing what is best - - sometimes there is no winning, it seems. This board has been an enormous help for our family. Glad you found it! Welcome.

P.S. My son is now 3 as well

Hello and welcome!

I cant remember if I ate peanuts while nursing my now 4 year old PA son, but I know I ate tons of peanuts while pregnant with him.

I am strictly avoiding peanuts now since I am still nursing my 13 month old daughter. I did have a few PB&J sandwiches while pregnant with her because I had not heard to avoid peanuts during pregnancy. Im praying that she does not have a PA. Well see...

Hi Darkmage, welcome!

Glad you found the site--were always getting new people so the site is always evolving and growing. Great to have you here!

I have an 8 year old son with peanut allergy and sesame allergy. Everyone here is dealing with peanut allergy, but lots of us have other food allergies as well. I think youll find many others with the same allergy concerns you have.

Welcome Darkmage, its nice to have you on board!

My nine year old daughter is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. She was allergic to both milk and eggs as a baby but outgrew both by age three.

My four year old doesnt seem to have any allergies, although he has never been exposed to peanuts or tree nuts, and we havent had him tested yet.

Welcome!

Darkmage,

Welcome aboard! As Im sure you are noticing there is a ton of information at your finger tips on this board.

My oldest (Ethan) is 5 1/2 and is only allergic to peanuts--so far. (keeping fingers crossed!)

I quickly checked out your board you posted a link to. Very cool!

Any question, please ask

Hi Daniel,

Welcome, and I hope your skin tests go well, with only good news Whatever you find out, someone on this board will be able to answer your questions.

I have a 17 year old son with PA, and also a 20 year old with multiple allergies. My aunt lives in your town, so if we ever visit her again(we are in Canada) well send you an e-mail.

Hi Daniel and welcome

I think it is really kind of you to be supportive of our problems even though you are not sure of your own allergy status!

There are several threads buried in here somewhere (probably under Main Discussion or Off Topic) about eczema where lots of suggestions have been made about dealing with itches and rashes. Hope you can find something useful there!

take care

deb
