Kroger gummi worms

I am am an elementary childrens church coordinator. One of our children has serious peanut allergies. I need to familiarize myself with safe options for sacks and treats.

Hi Diane,

No matter what list anyone provides or whatever you read online, you always want to check the label anyway.

Do not purchase items that say:
“May Contain Peanut or Tree Nuts”
“Processed on shared equipment with Peanuts or Tree Nuts”
“Manufactured in a plant with Peanut or Tree Nuts”
“Contains Peanut or Tree Nut Ingredients”

I found a good article on this site that I hope helps:

Hi Diane, I agree with BD. I think its so important to check labels and there are apps out there where you can scan labels. The two that I think are good are ipiit and shopwell. I have both on my phone and when Im grocery shopping they are my saving grace. But regardless of the apps, I still read the labels, especially when Im trying something new. This is a good article that lists out snack options for kids with peanut and nut tree allergies: https://www.theleangreenbean.com/nut-free-packaged-snacks/

Thanks
