The State Honor Roll of Asthma and Allergy Policies for Schools is issued annually by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA). It recognizes the states with the best public school policies to support people with asthma and allergies. This year, 14 states made the AAFA Honor Roll.
The AAFA looks at each state’s laws and policies regarding asthma and allergies in schools, including elementary, middle and high schools. The report identifies those with the best school-based policies and puts them on the Honor Roll. This year, 13 states and the District of Columbia made the list.
