BlueClaws to Offer Peanut/Tree Nut Free Game

BlueClaws, a minor league baseball team in Lakewood, New Jersey, is hosting a peanut and tree nut free game at First Energy Park on June 6.

"All items sold at the concession stands will be peanut and tree-nut free. Ingredient lists will be available for all refreshments, and a special seating section, to be washed down before the game, will be designated for families that have a member with an allergy, according to a release from the organization."

This is a fundraiser event with a portion of the proceeds raised being donated to the "FAAN Walk for Food Allergy: Moving Toward a Cure" to be held Sept. 11 in Long Branch.

The game starts at 1:05pm and tickets ($10 each) must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance.

For more information, contact Cheri Golub, FAAN walk chairperson, by e-mail at longbranchchair@foodallergy.org or phone at 732-239-8374.
